During the school year I live in a small village in Alaska. Saint Michael is right along the coast sharing the tundra-covered island with another village only 12 miles away. In the summer I have been visiting family, playing outside, and trying to squeeze in travel to far-off lands.
I love being amazed, impressed, and astounded, and I choose to catch glimpses of life that will do just that even in the grimiest of circumstances.
