I am so jealous of the peanut butter and tomato sauce; two specific items that are VERY hard to come by in Japan. "Peanut spread", a fluffy, plasticy version, just isn't the same. We have yet to find tomato sauce. p.s. Love the blog. It's so great to be able to see and read what you've been up to. Looks like you're in a great spot. You ate whale! I think I would do it in that setting. In Japan, the whaling is only supposed to be for scientific purposes, but there was definitally whale at a sushi restaurant I went to last week. I couldn't do it. I did eat horse, though. (Tasted good, but my head was having some trouble with the idea.) When will you start teaching? My first lesson is this coming Monday with a few different junior high classes.
